LOL wow ppl. i wanna see what i can do with the cheapest set of 4 15's i could find. i dont know of any other subs that i can get for 130 shipped. i searched all over the place.

and why is this guy so bothered about it? what does he run? and how quiet is he. i have my van to race. this is for my girl and its not gonna take 200 in MDF. these speakers will have like no throw so its not necessary to double the MDF. a battery from walmart in the back. had a run of 1/0 from my old escalade i can run in it. and had an old cd player from like 4 years ago. like i said its not for SQ by any means. just gotta do a 139.9 LOL

what made me get this idea was someone put 4 mj18's in an astro for his wife to run at the 3x event. but those subs cost more than what i was willing to spend. im trying to do the cheapest but loudest for the g/f. she has no idea what she is doing so im not gonna go spending TONS of money on her when i still have thousands to spend on my own van.

and dan. She will be a B.A.S.S. Master hahaha

oh, right, so if you already have it, it doesn't count in the price.. even though you paid for it in the first place...

why dont you just use all the audio gear you have, and say you already had it, so the install was FREE!

Hey, he didn't count the price of the electricity it took to cut up the box. Or his mortgage since he's building it in his garage. Or the cost of food he ate during the build since it required him to expend energy building this setup.

Burn him at the stake!

I think its a fun idea. I though about getting some of those and doing some kind of isobaric kinda thing with them, just for fun. Didnt someone do like 150 with 4 xplodes? lol

Im glad to see some people thinking of doing stuff like this for there wives or g/fs. I know my wife had a great time running and meeting all the people at the show this weekend. Would be great to have an all female final for 139.9.

If the batts in our van didnt go bad she could have done 149.9. With bad batts was doing a 146.5 and climbing but voltage was down to 11.3

my box is gonna be alot like yours MOMMYVAN lol. single layer mdf but a double baffle front plate. trim around box. shes just learning so she doesnt need anything like my van. she would be happy with 2 8's if i bought them for her.
