aight after the 3x event i went to this weekend it made me want to give my g/f something she can bassrace with cuz she actually enjoyed it alot. so i figured hell we got a new vehicle together and she still has her old car. so i decided i am gonna wall it off with 4 of the cheapest 15's i can find and im gettin a fosgate 1501bd *old school badassa amp* for 200 from a buddy of mine. i just spend $129 shipped on subs and $200 on an amp. so im at $330 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i have a head unit, got some wire, pretty much have everything covered. prolly gonna buy some cheap car batteries to throw in the back. tryin to keep it under $500 for the whole build. my goal for her is a 139.9 bassracer for under 500 bucks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ill keep the build updated. might be slow but it will happen. reason im doing this is cuz im waiting on my taxes to get my money for my van so i can get some amps and get workin on it. not modifyin untill i see what it does with power.

amp popped. couldnt do it. doesnt like music at 17v and .33 ohms LOL it woulda burped fine...... if the amp woulda played music i could do at least a 150 average if i have a good start. voltage wouldnt be my problem.

I have to be honest with you... i think you'll almost struggle to burp 140 with four of those, let alone bass race.

guess we'll see in time. know it will make a good 29.9 racer but thats easy. well 39.9 is easy for me too but g/f has never done this before so im not going all out.

I think you should get another four of them... even if you dont increase the power, thats still going to give you a 3dB gain, and then you can always up the power in the future.

its a freakin grand prix. 4 best im gonna do. got around 18 cube or so to work with. i have some ideas in mind. and this is a bassracer under 500

they cost more LOL!!! $500 max on this build. keep that in mind. this stuffs a hobby for me so ill have fun with it.
