Cheap Decent Amps

I have 2 subs that are 250 RMS 500 MAX and i wanna get a 1000 watt amps to power both of em. I wanna nice amp that is 1000-1400 watts for under 300$. I dont want a shitty one i want a pretty decent one. Thanks guys

****...I think you're really limiting yourself...by wanting pretty decent, under $300, and over 1000 watts

Even the budget kings (US Acoustics, Cadence, Autotek) don't have anything under $300 with that much power...you'd have to spend $420, $450, and $480 to get 1000 watts respectively...

I think you'd be stuck with Lanzar, Planet Audio, Boss and the like...Power Acoustik might come close...

Well, you can always check out JBL. http://www.ikesound.com has good prices. Since your subs are only 250 RMS, you can get the 600.1

if they are 250 RMS you dont need 1000 watts

you need ~500.

agreed.....~500w rms is all you'll need for those 2 subs....your basing your power needs off of the max power specs......the max is pretty useless when determining which amp to get.......

Ya, you cant say you wanna push your subs to 1000Watts when you only bought 500Watts of subs (you know what I mean?). Try the JBL 600.1, 300.1, USX600D, USX800D, etc, etc...

or just let him do what he wants and he can get a JBL 1200.1 wich is around 275 shipped.

but take everyones advice. u only need 500 watts

why would we wanna have him blow his subs????......what kind of help is that then???? ok here an amp that puts out to much power.....but im not going to tell u it puts out to much power for your speakers.....kinda crappy advise in my opinion

Afboy, one thing you havent told us is which subs are they, and the type of ohm they are wired to, single 4, single 2, Dual 4, Dual 2...?

People People! Gettin mad. Well i have the Bazooka 1004 SVC 4 ohm subs. They are 500 maxx but see the thing is im pushing it wit the EL1500 Bazooka Amp and they sound pretty shitty. I know its the amp and thats why i was thinkin i could step up to a bigger amp that way i wouldnt have to set the gains up or nething on the amp for the subs to sound good. ANd the JBl amp, my friend had that and he is pushing two 12" HE2s with it and its blown 4 times in the last year. I heard its a shitty amp but o well. Thanks guys for the help
