well i serously doubt that amp puts out anywhere near what its rated at......and those subs are not the greatest either....but u need an amp that puts out around 500w rms....completly dis regard the max figures....they are useless for daily driving .......rms is the only thing that matters for your situation..

You think the MTX 4000's would be better subs than the bazookas? I could trade them in if i wanted

The Bazookas should not sound shitty because you don't have enough power and the Bazooka, while not exact the best amplifier, should put out CLEAN power ...

And the Head unit max volume is 30 and its preset is on powerful. The Model is DEH-1400
