Cheap 12" 4 ohm DVC sub that can handle 500-1000 RMS?

Yeah I would have to agree try boosting to $160-$175 you can get a nice sub for that price. Also I agree there's a big jump from 500-1000 watts. If that amp powers anywhere close to a conservative 1000-1200 rms per you're gonna need more than a 500rms sub or you're gonna smoke it.

Sundown Audio SA-12's. $200 a piece but for the money they have great SQ. It would definitely be worth spending a little more. The whole "you get what you pay for" is a true statement. I have 2 of these bad boys in an extended cab and they pound hard!

So you bought a huge cheap amplifier and want to put 2 pawn shop subwoofers on it with ( I am just guessing here) no electrical upgrades and cheap wire ?

Hope you like fires and the smell of burnt Chinese Voice Coils
