It seems like no matter what I do I can't stop my head lights from dimming when my stereo is on. I've got two amps, one is a Rockford Fosgate Punch 450.4 and the other is an Alpine PDX 1.1000. I've got a 3 farad power cap and that helped a bit more than my old 1 farad did. Just today I upgraded from a 100 amp alternator to a 160 amp alternator and that helped a bit more, but still the head lights are dimming. The only other thing I can think of doing now is upgrading my battery. Any suggestions?

1. Big 3

2. New battery

3. If necessary, extra battery or HO alt.

4. Ditch the cap. If these other components are taken care of, a cap is useless.
