charging 2nd batt question

can i just put the charge wire to the back batt to the alt??

ive seen people always put the wire from the back batt to the front batt. can i directly charge the back batt??

It will still pull from the front batt if they share the same alt. You'd need a sec alt to charge just the system.

For 1-2 rear batt applications, is best to have power/ground wire from the front batt to the rear batt. Also grounding the rear batt to chasis/frame. Then the amp will be connected to the rear batt pos/neg.

If you only want to charge the rear batt while the vehicle is on, then you'd need an iso. The iso can be mounted under the hood or near the rear batt.

an i wanna get as much powah as i can with no light dimming.....that shit sucks!!!! i blasted the amp full tilt for 10 mins only with the rear an never cut out once...i think i will b good, but just wanna make sure....im fusing both ends of the powah wire

if its not going to melt yes.....i had a soloniod and it melted after like a week, it got stuck in off position....point me in the direction of a good isolator kind sir

yea I went a little over kill, just cause I thought you might be upgrading sooner or later. Lol Cons would probably be manufacture defects or installation error. (guessing)
