changing ohm ratings

I have 4 ohm subs and I was wondering if you can wire them different so they can be 2 ohm subs...or some way I can do this so i can put more power into them

you can only get a 2 ohm or 8 ohm final load, you cant change the impendence of the actual sub unless you get it reconed.

well then thats what I mean...I have only about 225 watts going to each one of my subs and I would like to push atleast 350..I was thinking about getting the hifonics brutus 1500 watt amp but what would that give me on 2 infinity kappa perfect 12.1's?

That is if you have 2 - 4 ohm single VC subs...
