Changing a JL Audio 10w3v3 Sealed to a Ported Box

Currently I have a JL Audio 10w3v3 in a sealed enclosure under my backseat powered by a JL Audio 500/5.

The SQ is really good and punchy IMO. I just wonder if going to a ported box around 1.25 cu ft would be that much of a difference In terms of SPL. I want more bass.

Opinions?
