If you haven't noticed, commerical rap is at it's worst right now. It's never been this bad. The game is absolutely embarassing. So being the hottest commercial rapper right now isn't such a great thing to be, lol. You guys need to listen to some real hip hop, and then listen to Wayne, and then you'll know what i'm talking about.

guess its all personal choice really..u cant just sit here and put him down for being " comercial" and say his flows arent sick.. he can go for days on other peoples songs, and make them hotter (in most cases) yeah he has some weird lines but all in all his shit makes sense and are some sick punch lines, and most everysong its something new.

I've been in this debate about 15 times now.. and to this day.. not Wayne fan has been able to come up with an impressive Wayne line.

And i'll give you an example of a 're-make' song that he did, which totally ruined the song. That Jay-Z song, Show Me What You Got. His re-make of that was just.. wow... one of the worst songs I have ever heard. And you say Wayne makes sense? Go listen to the verse on We Takin Over. The dude just says the most random stuff, has absolutely no subject matter at all, and makes absolutely no sense at ALL.

how can u just say hes "commercial" dudes been doing mixtapes since what 15 or 16 shit no one has ever heard, go type in lil wayne see songs u never seen or heard, versus and lines that one get said once.. its just 2 total different opinions looks like, im not dissing on any other rappers i cant just let it be said wayne is just commercial, since like u said commerical game right now is whack, but u got ur point i got mine..

Only Wayne CD I ever enjoyed was The Block Is Hot. And that was way back when, when I knew absoultely nothing about hip hop.

Seriously, I listen to the likes of Rakim, Pharoahe Monch.. and all these other legends.. how am I supposed to listen to them, and then listen to some garbage rapper like Wayne, who is nowhere near those legends in terms of skill? It's not gonna happen.. Wayne is garbage.

Here's two sets of "rhymes" in the song.. Not all of it is great/makes total sense, but it shows some flow for sure.

Listen to Drought 3, you'll find some nice bars in there.

I know he's not lyrically perfect, not even close, but there is flow. His punchlines are good, but his overally lyricism and meaning in his raps are lost somewhere between money, clothes, cars, and hoes. But it's nice to listen to and there are some catchy parts.
