I suspect Goob might be wishing he'd done just that by now. But hindsight is 20/20, and I still doubt he'll change his mind without giving Worst more of a chance than a couple days.
As for him not asking us for our opinion, its not hard to see why he didn't. Ive been here a long time now, and Ive never seen the level of anger aimed at Goob as I have seen the past couple years. Very personal attacks, over the silliest little things. The anger and frustration are apparent in his reply here in this thread when he said "see this is what I get" (or whatever it was exactly he said). Many many of the people in this thread complaining they didnt get a voice in this, are the very same people who so often crack jokes about Goob being drunk, or a selfish rich ******* who only cares about profit, or stupid, etc. Well, this is the price paid for those comments and attacks, he doesn't trust the community as a whole. What do you know, our words and our actions here do have consequences after all.

Well nobody got a voice, and that seems to be the big issue here. That's the one thing that is annoying people. Look at what Worst did as soon as he became a mod and compare it to how Ramos acted. Worst chose to respond to all the negativity and get involved in all that childish crap and even made threads about himself being and mod and then deleted them when they didn't go the way he planned. Ramos on the other hand just took the position and didn't feel it necessary to make announcements and what not. The fact that it's so clear that Worst is neither ready or wanted to be a mod and Goob just doesn't seem to care is what's making this so much bigger than it has to be. I really wish this thread would just be closed and people could just move on.

Were pissed Worst is a mod because hes been involved in scammer threads, he constantly trolls, offers absolutely nothing but horrible advice that he believes is right ever time, hes got the biggest fvcking ego because he has a Warden but nothing to put it in, all around not someone whos mature enough to even be here yet hes now a mod? WTF. Thats like taking some dude that works in the Meijer Deli and making him the president of the US. He has no qualifications, no intelligence, and no experience.

Well Im sorry you dislike the choice this much. Do you think it will make a major impact on the day to day workings of this forum?

Hey look, we agree. Just moving on is the best choice here. If he is as bad as some of you fear, he'll hang himself fairly quickly. Things have a way of working themselves out.

Yea that's my point too. But chances are he's still going to stay a mod. So basically the only thing to do is move on.

And for some people, he was already hung the moment he was appointed. You dont decide when he's hung, I dont decide, Goob decides. Until then, all concerned people can do is point out the issues to Goob and let him decide. Again you guys should be asking for an avenue of communication to Goob in case Worst is a problem, not screaming he's a problem from the get-go. Even if you are right (and Im not saying you are or are not), Goob isn't going to be very receptive to this type of communication. If the community gives Goob the impression they will give Worst a fair shake, and THEN the community denounces Worst, Id expect Goob to listen. But so far, most people here just give the impression Goob should expect 27 emails a day about the guy, justified or not.

What Im saying is, this probably isn't going to get you guys what you want, you need a better approach.

What you guys dont realize is that Goob can still look at all the stuff i deleted that i brought on to myself. He can see what i deleted as can every other mod.
