cd8445 need help

I guess I just need to know if this is a case of bad hu or install. I have a cd8445 about 6 months old and installed. The speakers/amp seems to work fine while in cd playback, but with the am/fm tuner the driver side speakers do not work and its driving me crazy. I've switched the rca from left to right on the hu and amp all the speakers seam to work just not the ones coming from the left side out from the hu. I've set it to normal mode and no seating positions set and adjust the balance and can't seem to figure it out. Is there a tuner setting that i'm missing or an installation problem that could cause this or should i just try to return the hu.

Try reseting the head unit back to the factory settings by disconnecting its power.

I tried unhooking power to the hu and reset, but still no left side speakers on radio output. I did find that if i set it on the dsp setting stadium/club etc that i did get sound from the left side, but not as strong as the right. Thanks for replying.
