CD-IB100II install

I got a CD-IB100II for Christmas, and I will be installing it tomorrow.

My question is: Has anyone ever installed one of these in a 93 Grand Am? I am just wondering where the best location is to attach the unit itself. Under the dash? Under the console? Somewhere else entirely?

FYI, I am trying to have the iPod plug end up in the vicinity of my glove box, so I can plug it in and store it in there. Can't use it anyway once it's connected, so why not?

Thanks in advance for any replies and help!

theres enough cable you can hook it anywhere...in my Saleen I set it up in the console...in my FX4 I set it up in the glovebox...the box is hid behind the dash near the radio...I think the white IPOD cable coming from the box is about 2 or 3 feet long
