Cars with good gas mileage

i got an '08 Nissan Rogue, you can get it in AWD. I love mine and consistently get 28MPG regardless of highway or street. my 28MPG isn't a claim it's fact as I track mine. i'm sure that other cars that are mentioned get good mileage but alot of those numbers are claims and don't come close to actual MPG. I drive an '11 Ford Edge that claims 27MPG highway and 19MPG street but I have never got better than 21MPG, even when I drive all interstate from NOLA to FL.

i just got my wife one of those new krom ones. loved that awd when we had the ice and snow months back. yes it does get great gas mileage.

I don't drive a Mustang. But why is that considered douche?
Guess I should have worded that better. The majority of the people who drive Mustangs are douche. Just watch them driving. They drive to the light as fast as they can. They peel out because they think they are cool. Their ego is huge, their car is the best, its the fastest, etc. Anything you say to them about their car is wrong. They know everything. Etc. Its how most of them act.

Not true.
and says a mittenhead.
What parts not true?

The Suzuki cvt is as good as any other cvt in that price range. I have been a mechanic for 20 years and have never seen a single issue out of any cvt.
probably mostly true on the CVT but they are extremely picky when it comes to what CVT fluid to use. I have a CVT in my Nissan Rogue and I've seen ppl's CVT fail b/c they didn't use the Nissan CVT fluid they used a different synthetic CVT fluid. Nissan recently changed their CVT warranty period to a 10yr warranty if changed with Nissan CVT fluid.

Glad you arent my mechanic. The Suzuki has the same Jatco CVT as the Murano and the Caliber. I can name atleast 4 people in the last week that have had their Suzuki CVT replaced under 40,000 miles. Ive also had mine replaced in the last month. Suzuki replaces them religiously. They warranty them and have them inspected every time they cant figure out whats wrong with one.

True, but isn't it the same way for people who drive Camaros and Challengers? Hell, people around here do that with their Grand Prix's.

So you get a new 1 for free. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif Call it a day and keep driving. 60k and 45k on the SX4's in my household and running strong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What are some? I am looking for a new ride. I am tired of filling up twice a week. How are the Honda Civics? I plan on getting something 2008+. Also, the car will need to be 4WD or AWD.
why do you need AWD if you live in the jungle?

I like my 2001 civic ex coupe. it gets good gas milage in town but it is geared low //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif. So on the highway it is so so since it is always at 4 grand. but if driven at like 2000-3500 rpms. i can last a whole week on half a tank and i drive all the time. even with it geared low i get like 350-400 miles per a fill up. Just depends how much highway i drive.
