Cars with good gas mileage

What are some? I am looking for a new ride. I am tired of filling up twice a week. How are the Honda Civics? I plan on getting something 2008+. Also, the car will need to be 4WD or AWD.

Suzuki SX4 and Kizashi. The SX4 is 30 HWY and has AWD that can lock into 4WD. The Kizashi is a sport sedan that gets 31, I believe. Also AWD.

Subaru Legacy also has decent gas mileage while maintaining AWD.

If you are looking for higher mileage, VW diesels, Honda, Hybrids...

Good luck with your search. And if you want an AWD, civics arent in your category.

Maybe some of the suby's, audis for cars. Suv's its going to be hard to find one getting good gas mileage unless its a hybrid or one of the small crossover vehicles.

If it helps, I'm around two 2008 Suzuki SX4 Crossovers daily. Mine is slightly modified with a small lift and larger tires (snow duty), averaging 23mpg. The other is bone stock and averaging 26mpg. (Combo of city and highway.)

On the highway at cruising speed, they get 30+.

It was hard to argue 10 year/100,000 warranty and a low initial cost.

new chevy equinox, kia sorento or sportage for 4x4 crossovers. mitsubishi lancer, chevy cruze, hyundai elantra, ford focus or fiesta for fwd compacts. Suburu legacy or impreza for awd sedans

I bought an 04 civic 5spd for 7k and I get mid 30s daily ( if you drive it properly you can get into the 40s in the city).

Gas is cheap, maintenance is cheap, parts are cheap, and its a honda. Perfect DD car if you don't have kids or have to haul things.

The new V6 Ford Mustang gets 31 MPG on the highway. Not bad considering they also have 315 HP. Either that or get a 2011 Ford Focus. They get 40 MPG.

I wouldnt touch either of those. The CVT in them blows.

At the end of the day your still a douche for driving a Mustang.

my 2003 honda civic gets 41 mpg on the highway with a H/O alt and 200 lbs in the trunk
