Carpet Help ??? Please.....

Hi all, I am in need of finding a carpet to match my '01 black interior.
I have ordered the Tru-Vtte carpet that has the backing on it,(that would be perfect if covering a flat piece) but I am finding that when I fold it over corners, the carpet nap spreads and the backing is clearly visible. The carpet will be used to cover an amp rack for the custom audio system which will be in the trunk, so I am in need of something that can easily be folded around and into corners, etc.
Does anyone know where I can find carpet that:
Matches as closely as possible the color (black) of the stock Corvette carpet (it's amazing how many variations of "black" there are!)
Can be stretched and folded over without showing the base of the carpet through the nap
Has no backing
Any recommendations (web sites) or sources would be greatly appreciated.
