CarPC with good audio preouts?

I was thinking of putting a CarPC in my car, but the major problem ive been running into is how to get the audio from the computer into my amps. I have a diamond audio amp for my sub and a phoenix gold amp for my components. My question is, is there some type of device out there that can take the audio and seperate it into high volt preouts, such as front and rear for the components, and a sub channel for my diamond audio amp. Is there anything out there that can do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

if your running a carpc as a primary source ( ie no hu ) you just buy a really good Sound card for your PC and thats your output //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Some aftermarket sounds cards have digital optical out (toslink) which you can use with the pioneer p9 or alpine h700/h701 processors. You will have to buy their control units, though.

Or you can just use these:

And run the output of the computer directly into the amp.

Either way, you'll need a sound card capable of 5.1 sound. I don't think there are many 4.1 sound except certain via vinyl audo processors that convert line output to rear channels and mic to sub.

Im actually selling what I think is the exact item your looking for. AudioControl Matrix, its a 6 channel line driver with the ability the to take channels 5/6 and output it to 3 different sources each with their own gain adjustment. This would let you take the computers speaker out and output seperate rca's for fronts/rears/sub.

http://www.carsound.com/reviews/processors/matrix.html for more info on it.

Im looking for $150 before shipping, pm me if your interested.

The best way is to do what pwnt by pat said with a processor that takes digital in but that is much more expensive.

You're all wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Silverstone DAC is the way to go. Its the highest preamp output DAC converter that you buy (besides the M-Audio USB, which I own).
