Careers in Car Audio???

I would think very little of the design, building or testing of audio gear is actually done here in the US. Most of the addresses for car stereo companies here are actually just warehouses.

Ive noticed that most places that do installs, also do car accessories, like cruise control, refabricating leather seats, power windows/locks, remote starters, etc.

I think that its because they arent making enough just doing installs.

Transfer into a 4-year program and get a real BSEE, if you want to do that sort of thing.

Need a 4-year university program. A degree from a community college won't get you very far with a good job.

you need to get into the acoustical engineering part of audio, or learn how to build amps/ crossovers
