airbags wont deploy in every accident, but that looks bad enough that they should have

get your shit outta your car and look for a new one cause that thing looks totalled, especially since the drivers door wont even open

So she is at fault and your not gonna get a lawyer because she is your friend? She had insurance right. Cause at least her insurance should cover your car to be fixed. Plus if she was at fault and is on record then her insurance goes up irreguardless, so dont worry about that. Now if your suing her, then that is different. If you are not hurt, then wouldnt worry about it, if you are then go to a lawyer and do what you have to do.

The insurance company will try to settle with pennies on a dollar for your injuries.

You may be talking about tens of thousands of dollars for soft tissue injuries...bruises, contusions, sprains and strains.

It has nothing to do with your friend at all. It has everything to do with getting compensated for your injuries, sometimes the real impact does not appear for months or at least weeks.

That doesn't look that bad. The air bags didn't deploy cause you weren't going fast enough.

I would atleast make her pay for the damages. If it was me atleast.

EDIT: Wait I looked at it again. hehe that is pretty mashed, but still your bags didn't go of for 3 reasons.

1. They don't work.

2. The point of impact wasn't picked up by a SIR sensor.

3. You weren't going fast enough.
