And a mile is fairly close..Wouldn't be a problem for someone to see you bumping a mile or two away from your house, remember your vehicle, and spot it just a few minutes up the road.

yea man u right..but on my next car im running a double battery to the alarm and piezo speakers in the dash as an extra siren just to wake somones *** up

Pager alarm ftw. Sits on my night stand right beside me when I sleep. Will it wake me up? Yes it will. I thought about taking the siren out. Because boy wouldnt the guy in my car be surprised when I came outside with a gun?

haha i was taken thursday night or friday morning 1130-1 and i had gotten my car alarm thursday afternoon and was gonna put it in friday..just wat are the chances of this shit happening u kno..i just feel dumber every day now...and it was a pager alarm my viper 5002

ive got my alarm hooked up so my horn is on a constant output/ with 1 siren in the front left fender.. ( have to take fender off to disable it!) and a siren under the dash.....

someone broke in my car about 3 month's ago or so... well they broke the window.. set my glass brake sensor off and the tint kept the window from falling out of it's frame.. so he didnt get anything but the shit scarred out of him. my 2- way pager woke me up allong with my loud horn going off in the parking lot... i live in a appartment complex also so it woke up neighbors and they called the po po, the people where arrested and i am just now about to recive my compensation...

talk to the cops and see if you can get a list of the local places they find abanoned/stolen cars. i dont know if it will help in your area but my cousins blazer got stolen and they found it in a field where they have found around 15 other stolen/stripped/burnt cars before. you would think somebody would keep a check on that area or the thiefs would quit putting cars there over and over. also my buddy had a sebring broke into at his old apartment complex. the comples had well over 1000 renters in the area and his car was parked right next to a cop car. he still got his in dash and visor tv's stolen. trunk was popped to get the subs and amp but it was all built in and flush mounted in the trunk to where they couldnt use a regular screwdriver.

my buddy has a clean 95 honda civic, lowerd, tinted, 19's and 95,000 og miles on it.. it's a nice car he has had it broken into, i think at least 5 times, never stole anything, has had a 2 way alarm w/ gps telephone system on it since day 1, also was pistol whipped in downtown cleveland someone took it and he had the gps starter kill it and track it and it was returnd... luky he wasnt shot..

that reminds me. the same complex i just mentioned the cops set up a civic full of audio stuff and and aftermarket parts to try to catch the people stealing all the hondas around here. car got stolen without the cops even seeing it. lol but then again that tells you how smart our police force is around here. so if your stuff gets stolen you aint getting shit back.

update for everyone...the car was found yaaaayyyy....now here is the bad part..no engine..no battery...no seats..no rims and tires...system was stripped...i was just *****...
