Car sub/amp or HT sub/amp with computer?

If you don't have a receiver with a sub output or any other kind of out put, you could get a 3.5mm jack to RCA connector and connect the 3.5mm into your soundcard and the RCA to the inputs on the amplifier. How are you running your speakers??

Into the speaker port. Can I just split the 3.5mm audio out on the back of the computer and use a 3.5mm to RCA wire to the sub? I found all the cables.

Yes it's called a "Y" cable.... You can get them at Radio Shack...
OK thanks, I found it on parts express but wasn't sure if it would work. I look forward to shake pictures off the wall throughout my dorm. There are 2 or 3 guys with little 5.25" woofers that sound like shit but are always turned up loud
