Alright i got this thing, it just converts AC to DC 14v, it says its rated 3amps, 300watts. Im not sure how beefy that is but could it run a 2 channel amp and say 90rms@4ohms for the speakers. The name is Astron RS-12A.

You should be fine. If you're just playing music, you won't see anywhere near a continuous 90x2.

I run a 100wrms amp off of a 300w Antec PSU and I have no problem driving the amp. Neither the amp nor the PSU get hot and I can get some pretty nice output from it if I want.

either im thinking about this too much or you guys don't understand....he is asking if his power inverter will run an automotive amp that is 90 w rms...not 300....so 90 @14 =6.5amps
Yes, you are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is the output potential of the inverter, not the current draw of the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
