Car Problem?

Could be anything from a broken motor mount to bad cv's to a worn sprag unit. Take it to somewere like midas and let them look at it lots of places give free estaments.

The thing is I dont want to spend any money on it at all. I want it to last me through the winter, and then Im getting a new vehicle. But I might have to call around and see if I can get someone to tell me whats wrong with it.

Im not automotive savy, so are those things you listed very major?

motor mounts are cheap install is a lil expencive the cv's are like 140 per side installed and the sprag is a major part of the ****** Is the sound happening all the time or just when its cold ie: just started

cars normaly idle faster when their cold and if it has a lot of miles the thunk its kinda normal its just what happens as parts wear but it could be idleing to high and that will definatly cause a thunk just call around there are plenty of shops that give free estaments

i used to have a 1984 ford tempo and it did what you your talkin about then got home from work that day and it dropped in rpm's really really low then the engine and transmission died, it had 137000 on it.

Too bad we dont have a specific part of the forum for this type of thing, huh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
