shop estimated the cost at $400-$500.....but the deductible...agghh!

they should pay and seeing it's not your fault you shouldn`t have to pay a deductible and your rates shouldn`t be affected. but you will need a police report.

My friends cars was hit this past Thanksgiving. It was parked in front of my house and my neighbor backed out of his driveway right into the side of it. The insurance company covered it and he only has collision insurance. I guess that is the only time it can be covered, if the car is hit while its parked.

I had him call the cops and one came out and filed a police report.
