Car DVD/Navigation HELP!!!

I am looking for some advice from some of the users. I have spoken to a couple car audio installers and have been given several suggestions for installing an in dash dvd with navigation. I believe the best two options are as follows. Install an Alpine IVA-W200 and an Alpine Blackbird device and link the two, or install an Eclipse AVN5500 both of which installations are in my price range. What would be more beneficial if you can give me the pros and cons of each it would be great.
