Hey, I just bought a Premier 960MP here from one of the members and just hooked it up and didn't get full functionality of it. Maybe I am missing something in the wiring, I went out and bought a toyota harness for my 98 4Runner and soldered it to the pioneer harness so I could put the stock radio back in really easy if I ever sold the truck.
The problem is that when I plugged it in and turned on the ignition the deck would open and close as if it had power, and the faceplate would light up if I turned the headlights on, but the display doesn't come on and the only button on the face that works is the open/close button...maybe I missed something when wiring the HU up to the adapter harness? I looked at the installation manual and it seems like I did everything correct, I checked the fuse on the power line which is a 10amp in good condition. Maybe I should run my main power and ground to the battery??? Any ideas what I did wrong, I can't seem to tell from looking at the wiring.
