Well I just bought a new sub that i didnt think i would be doing..

I sold my RL-p with a powerbass amp and now have a FI Q 18'' comming to me

My alt got ****ed up couple weeks ago and didnt EVEN ****ing think about gettin an upgraded alt for the truck.. ITS ONLY 70 amp..

now the Q will need 1000 watts just like my old setup.

I had minor light dimage..

WILL THE BIG 3 help with this.... or is the 70 amp alt just not big enough?

i have a optima red top under the hood and thinkin about gettin another one soon..cuz i can get em real cheap.

what do yall think about that?

If you got the cash, get a new alt.

If not, upgrade all your wiring and get a couple cheap big batteries.

finally thanks for the reply.... but i dont have money for the alt..so for now im gettin a new optima to throw in the back... wiring i will have to see how much i have money wise... i think im gonna do the big 3 in 1 guage for now till i can get more money

Get some 1/0 welding cable and do another battery in the back for now. Then do a new alt in the future.

what part..lol cheap batteries? or soo many batts on 1 alt ?

do the big3 it will help

i ran 1200+rms and 100x4rms in my old setup on a 90amp alt with big3 and yeah i had dimming but it wasnt horriable
