car broken into ..need advice

My girlsfriends car was broken into in downtown L.A. they stole my laptop (about $1500), car stereo faceplate, all her cds, my $100 jacket, and my $50 cologne. what does insurance usually cover? am I SOL?? i mostly care about the laptop i'm in the process of getting the receipt.

yea, only worry about the laptop, though if you can find recipts for the other items they could possibly be covered...couldnt hurt by any means...good luck...

I'd hate to jack your thread..or make matters any worse for you atm.. but who the hell leaves a $1500 labtop, $100 jacket and faceplate in their car ANYWHERE.. I live in a small populated town.. and I would NEVER leave those things for even a min. in my car.
