Car battery getting weak?

I installed my subs about 4 month ago and now sometimes my car wont turn on with the first turn of the key. I have to turn the key a couple times before it starts. I heard that a capacitor would be good to use, is this true? I dont want my car to go dead.

dont use a car, just go to autozone and get your battery and alt tested for free and that will tell you if theres a problem there

yeah, its a 96 toyota tercel so theres probably somthing wrong with it. Ill look into getting it tested.
