Sub was just laying around the house, so I went to a TV shop and bought the receiver for $100.

I had a few cd's that had some nice bass lines in them and playing them on a factory system wouldn't cut it so I hooked the sub up to the receiver for shits and giggles.It was not an attempt at an HT setup.
