Car Audio Rookie here, need help with brand new system.

single 15 ported. why? 1 sub is cheaper than 2,

on around 1k watts. why? wont need electrical upgrades most likely

custom ported box. why? well thats a dumb question

ofc 4 gauge amp kit. why? its the good shit

tuned to 32-35 hz. why? so he can get low and also have some high bass

Or upgrade to 0 gauge if you can! I mean why not it leaves you space for upgrades

Mazda 6 2004. I dont have any equipment. I was hoping the Car Audio Geniuses would start me out
Finally, someone who comes here before they buy a Boss amp and Rockford subs. Thank you, and good decision

yes this is assuming you can fit a 15, because if not you won't fit 2 12's either
True, one "underground" 12 can out-do some larger mainstream subs

my budget is around 500-700. i could go up to 1000 if its really necessary though
ouch... well... with that

you can go the used route and save some money.

your keeping the stock deck im assuming since changing it would eat all your budget becasue of our dumb cars.

honestly best bang for buck will be soundqubed hds315 bundle which is $440. then your amp kit which will be around $60, ported box around $250 shipped to you, and lc2i like $80

youll have to find a used sq1200 or a similar becasue their out of stock or wait a month or so and have a little mre money and buy everything at once when it comes out

That's good. Your knowledge will save you money on installation.

I've got some beats, lol.
