Car Audio Program for Noobs

I'm just starting out programming so I'm making a car audio program for noobs without brains to download, just as a sort of practice exercise. It so far includes a gains setting calculator and a dc power calculator and that is all. Will be adding a basic port length calculator soon. Anything else it should include? Was thinking of doing a how much power are you running/ here's what power wire size you need calculator. Also a "how big does my cap need to be" calculator that always returns zero regardless of input. Anything else?

How to use the search feature
Agreed! If this program turns out well and we can throw a download link in one of the stickys, it could be pretty useful I think. Also I'll throw an ohm load calculator in there too.

somethimes capacitors are needed... they are only a waste of time if used improperly... such as most cases //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

yeah, but like I said, it's a car audio program for noobs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also, I see in your sig you bought the me gusta 12"! Would be keen to see that installed, that thing looks epic.

EDIT: actually I may just remove that cap bit. This tool could be pretty useful for everyone if it goes right.

Well if someone feels like paying the ~$200 shipping to send it over here I could sure as hell put it to use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The real solution to program for car audio is to write a program that operates similar to what call centers use. If you are not familiar with those, perhaps asking one of your professors would get you in the right direction. To be honest I have contemplated this very idea several times, but since I was looking from a business aspect I ditched the idea every time.

Pro-Rabbit what do you think of using the formula off the 12v for a port length calculator? The site has always worked well for me so figured I would run it.
