Company name appears to be Ural, which would tell me that it is likely made in Ekaterineburg. Probably uses a European spec tuner which means it won't receive the entire band of FM or AM in the States. If they make an American spec version, it might be kinda cool. The ergonomics of the unit looks to be really good and the idea of upgradable software is a technology whose time has definitely come.

Build quality for stuff coming out of Russia is not typically that good (my wife being an exception //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ), and it would take a heck of a good warranty and a good price for me to take the plunge on something like that cool though it may be.
