Or maybe you had crazy impedence rise during this prolonged burp and your amp was only putting out a couple hundred watts. I personally don't believe you did this, because nobody wastes the fuel to let their car idle for 30 minutes. Who has the time? If you were at your house, so you could go in and kill the time you would have gotten the cops called. IF someone were to do this experiment, they would document it. They would take voltage readings. They would have had some purpose to do it other than trying to ruin their equipment. It just doesn't add up. I know you'll come back and defend that and think I'm attacking you. I'm not, but I don't at all believe you.... and neither does anyone else brah.

The reason I did it is because I have stock electrical, I did it after I first installed my system, because it is more powerful than I should be running off stock electrical especially because I couldn't connect the alt-bat of the big 3 I was worried that I might have a situation where I would be discharging my battery and I could walk out to my car after work or somewhere and have a dead battery. So I decided to do this test to see how she held up. I was at my cabin in bemidji with acres upon acres to myself no cops were called. I didn't believe it either man, I got done playing it for 30 minutes, I'm not sure at what hz exactly but i was using DR crankenstein track 02 has that constant tone for the whole time on repeat. I hooked up a charger to the battery afterward to see how much I had to charge her, and I was totally amazed when my 2amp charge showed a green light after only a few minutes.

To me there too many variable as to how that worked but anyway bottem line for me was I stopped looking too hard at the numbers. I wish I was checking my voltage I have a voltage readout right on my amp. But anyway this isn't really important. We're all getting at the same point that the Alternator is prob the most important part of your electrical. Batteries are better than caps, caps are pretty worthless.

I have often wondered why so many people can not understand easy electrical systems. Car electrical systems are about the easiest of all electrical circuits.

The 12volt battery has six cells each cell should have a resting voltage of about2.12 volts when charged. How much power each cell has stored depends on how many plates are in that cell just like a cap how many plates or the amount of surface area for the electrons to be stored. The difference between batts and caps is that with a battery you have a chemical reaction taking place to produce more electricity and a cap does not. The cap will release its full potential in a flash if the demand for it is there with no chemical reaction.

I wish that it was possible to get people to understand that caps do nothing to harm anything and that they do very little to help. I also wish that people could understand how a car battery works and how mixing batteries or mixing battery types is very harmful to their charging systems. I only wish people could understand all this so that they could have better stronger bumping sound systems without wasting money.
