Nope. Get on Wikipedia or something and read about them. If you're wanting to get an external cap for your amp, then the answer is no.

a cap can work decently if you do it the right way. I like my cap it reads volatge

A cap does not produce ANY current on its own.It only stores energy to prevent major flucuation in the power supply.But if you don't have enough power in the first place then the cap is not working in the matter it was intended.
