Amp Kill Battery??

Hi, I just bought a 2 channel amp (300 watts). I also purchased a new car battery about 6 months ago...and I've had no problems with the battery at all. Anyway, last week I got the amp installed, yesterday my car wouldn't start for 10 minutes. Could it be my amp? Has anyone else had this problem.

well go back...if ur battery wasnt deing b4 the system, it shouldnt be deing now. Take it back a demand them to fix it...its there fault and u have life time warranty
i would not demand anything. You do not know it is their fault. And going in thinking like this is going to simply piss them off and you do not want someone that you were a dick to with no concrete reason to be working on your car.

Has it died more then once? And did you have to jump it or did it eventually crank up? If no jump was needed i have a hard time believing it was the install. If its only happened once check all your doors and check everything electrical in the vehicle to make sure that the dead battery was not mistakenly your fault. After all this is done if it dies again then take back to tweeter.
