can't get through firewall >.<

i can't find a good spot to put my wires through on my firewall.

2005 Toyota Highlander, any ideas?

i went through the floor instead of the firewall on my install -> http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-build-logs-cars-trucks-suvs/517305-martians-2001-buick-build-log-3.html couple posts down you can see my power wires coming up through the floor. Then I just ran them right along the brake lines and up into the engine bay.

there should be a major harness going through the firewall already.

It should be on the same side as the battery

you should be able to poke a hole in the grommet and run your wire

yeah, i mean earlier in the install i took a sawzall and cut out some support beams in the back, so......take it as you will, i'm a nutcase //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif The firewall area of my vehicle is extremely clogged as it is and i didn't want to bother messing with it tho. Floor was easy, just take a drill and 2 minutes later you're in.

If your worried so much about the resale value of the car that you don't wanna drill through the firewall I reccommend you do not put a system in your car.

Toyotas are pretty good about keeping everything sealed up. I had to drill through my Corolla's firewall because there were no rubber boots. Just bite the bullet & drill or GTFO!
