I've been looking for a good ported box for a single 12", full length under the rear bench with a good 7" of mounting depth. After looking for the past week, I am now 99% positive there is no such thing. Any1 know where I can get what im lookin for?

Sounds like your talking about a crew cab truck since you said rear bench but that could also be a extended cab too I suppose. Mind telling us the cab configuration and year to be a little more precise.

7" of mounting depth will be pretty hard to accomplish I am sure, at the very least you will need to lift the rear seat a few inches. I build a box for some 12's in the back of my friends 05 extended cab and it required the seat to go up about 2" but it was a sealed setup and I can't remember the amount of mounting depth. I know I have seen some ported enclosures on this site that go under the back seat.

Definitely thinking you will be having to build this yourself, or check out pro box rox, I think there stuff is all sealed though.

I have a pair of SRs under my rear seat in a ported box. I only have like 6" under my rear seat an it's a crew cab Titan. No seat raise. if you would like to see pics I can get them for you. Thatw ay you can have an ideal...

its an 04 silverado extended cab. i have a really clean downfiring sealed box in right now, the mounting depth is about 6.5-7.0" n its holding my 2 alpine type-s 12"s. im totally willing to raise my seat a couple inches. im looking for a box built exactly the same but for a single 12 n a port on the other end.. and i wana utilize the entire box for airspace. my plans are for an FI bl12 with at least 1000w. so the box will need a solid 7" mounting depth. anyone got any ideas on what i should do? ive never built a box before and i think this would be a little complicated for a first.. thanks for the help guys

No offense but that looks like shiit.. But I do know what onehate02 is saying I saw a ported box about a week ago I'm trying to figure which site it was on. 1 12" Downfiring on one side and the port on the other end.. I'll try and find that picture.

I'd say 2 to 4 ported 8" Sundown E8's would be much better than a 12" ported. then you could build a custom box and fire them forward in the same position cuseikan has them, but keep the seat stock height and flush with the front of the seats, thats what i would do.

check with woofercooker, he has a ton for sale at a really good price in the classifieds

mr cabientry built a sick box.. i wish i could built that myself. but i saw one on subthunp a couple weeks ago and it was exatly what im talking about but its gone i dont think they make it anymore
