cancelled order of ava's and got used w7 from friend

well today was a good day. tell me yall oppinons about the w7 cuz i got it from my friend for 400 dollars. Its used but it never seen more than 400 watts cuz of his amp. right now its in the jl enclosure with the red thing in it. Im wonderin if i should make a new box at woodshop tommorw cuz this box is awkward. it looks nice but its a big fit in my car's trunk. Should i keep it cuz i did cancell the ava's. o well. I think its the 12 inch. but it might be the 13 inch. Also another question how do i take the sub out? its so confusing and ill get some pics and pron of it wen i get it runnin tommrow hopefully

o yea today was a good day. at my game the la dodgers scout was there for me and i played hella good d, and did what was needed. hopefully next year i get drafted or something

a kid i know got drafted by the mets a few days ago, 289th pick, 13th round, thats actually not that bad for straight out of high school at age of 18, hes a catcher too, in 17 games or so he hit .535 10 homers and like 40 something rbi's for there high school

um 2 be honest.....u did a dumb *** move........u canceled the order for a ava and bought a w7 used at that for 400....wow...stupid is as stupid does i tell u........for one ava12 it goes for like 200.....u could have gotten 2 ava12's for a total of i believe 450 shipped(the most u would pay) and u will by far outperform one 12w7....what the hell is this world comming to...no its just u

dont get me wrong jl makes good stuff..i got some jl subs in my house as we speak and i'm not letting them go.....but when it comes down to the w7 ...theirs other subs out there that will sound just as good in not...better than the w7 and the ava12 is one of them

i dint really pay 400 dollars. i jus traded my psp and 2 games which in reality is worth 400 dollars. thats what i mean by paying him for 400 dollars. this way it dint cost my mom anything. and now i can get a nice amp.

i would have done the trade for the psp or whatever and then still gotten the aa subs because you would have been able to sell the w7 later

Well, he'd need more power to run 2 subs and they'd take up more space. Sure it would be louder, but the SQ still wouldn't be up to par with a W7, all things equal. I'd take 1 super amazing sub over 2 good ones anyday. Good choice in my book.

You will be impressed with the 12w7. Go with the rec ported enclosure for the sub. Sounds fantastic at all volumes and gets very loud.

I rarely support JL but I dont think It was a bad trade. But then again I dont like AA either, just based on company antics.

w7 is still one of the best woofers on the market IMO, though it comes at a price.
