No, it will be fine...it's the storage capacity of the battery...the only time your electrical is going to work hard is after you initially install it if it is not fully charged...the alternator may be working for awhile to get it up to full charge but after that you will be good to go.

im at my buddys shop right now and hes saying its not safe to run this size battery thru the whole car but in the trunk right before the amp woulkd be fine. is this true?

Your "buddy" is an idiot. Those are very dumb things to say. Do not let him work on your electrical/audio system. I wouldn't go back to that shop.

In 10-20 minutes of scanning threads here or other forums on audio electrical systems you would know more about elctrical systems that your buddy's shop.

FWIW I would not use it as a starting battery either but you can and it will fit.

I would say the only time replacing a battery for another would be unsafe for your electrical is if its more than the intended 14.4 volts like a 16 volt battery.
