Can you hook up 2 amps into a one Capaictor? & The setting for high pass Crossover?

Okay i have a capaictor to a punch amp pushing my 2 12" subs. I'm gonna get a 4-channel punch amp, so i was wonder if i could run the power wire to the capaictor instead of making the power wire to the battery? Any suggestions?

Also what do i set the cross over for high pass? and gain?

use 2 power wires......don't take short cuts

Thats perfectly fine as long as the power wire is the correct gauge to handle the load
