How about 2-3 runs of the 18? Would be a LOT easier then trimming down the 0 to fit the terminals...

This has to be the most ridiculous thing i have read period in a long time. How the hell would you even attach it to the sub? And even after that- how would you attach it to the amp? Go to the store and get the right cable for the job.

Just go to wal mart and buy some 14 ga wire they have on a 20' roll for like 5 bucks

Dude, speaker wire is not that expensive. Stop being cheap, you will thank us later when you are NOT spending 30 minutes figuring out how you are going to attach it to both sub and amp.
