LOL! I think you did your math wrong. It is not the square root of 1000/2. It is 1000x2. And that is not how much current you need, there are alot of factors. Are you trying to run this in your house?

 
well when my neighbors **** me off I run rca's from the tv audio out to the amps input then run a extra battery I have laying around with a smart charger and extra sub and boom they get the hint, I've ran things this way for weeks on end with no problems but never 1000watts.

If you have multiple amps you do not need to run a power wire from each amp to battery.. You can have a single run of wire with a distribution...
