can someone tell me a lil about the BPX2200.1

theres a good deal going on right now for this amp. i was thinkning the 20.1 but this is only about 80 dollars cheaper. with almost 2500 watts giving out at 4 ohm i could easily power a rl-s now. Anyone have any experiences with it?

BPX is a very nice amp. A little on the pricey side but Crown does not disappoint.

the thing i dont get is that it has 2 different power ratings. its more powerful at 4 ohms then it is at 1 ohm

Crown was trying to get all the BPX's to do similar power ratings between 4 and 1ohm. But I still don't see why 1ohm is less though. All the BPX's are more powerful at 4ohm than at 1.

BTW: That 2200.1 can draw up towards 190A...

Wouldn't the IA20.1 pull close to 200amps as well?
