Can someone shed some light?

Hi Everybody

I got some Pioneer TS-W161 6.5" Mid-Bass speakers that I would like to use with a Pioneer GM-3000T 2ch amp but I'm uncertain on how I should wire'em. Because the 6.5's are 4 ohm SVC's I only have a few options:

(1) If I wire each speaker to each ch I should get 50x2 @ 2ohms.

(2) If I bridge both channels on the amp and wire the speakers parallel, will that give 200x1 @ 2ohms?

I appreciate any help.

Your only option is to wire one speaker to each channel for 40w x 2 @ 4ohm.

You do not want to bridge the amplifier to the pair of speakers. You would lose stereo sound, which would sound horrible.

Not to mention that the amp you have is not stable at 2 ohms bridged... just run it in stereo. Best results arise from following the instructions... and ohms law
