can someone help me get 4.3 cubes @35hz??? with my specs

so i am going to run four 10's and want the box 4.2 before sub and port displacement. on the average what would the box be after this displacement? also i was thinking of having the subs on top of the box firing up towards my trunk lid and the port firing towards the back of the trunk.

i was thinking

H: 11--12'

L: 30--32'

W 18--24'

what would this come up to??? i have no idea how to find out. i tried a calculator i found off google but it was no help and they all seemed to give different answers. and it will be made with 3/4' MDF

Port displacement for a box that sized is usually .25-.5 cubic feet. Sub displacement is anywhere from .018 to .25.

At the maximum dimensions listed, you'd only be able to achieve a 4.16 cubic box, before any sort of displacement. I'd suggest an aeroport, since they take up less space due to their efficiency.

will it sound any different from a slot port? will they be flush with the box or sticking out? and do they cost alot more?

You're right. It does. However, that only accounts for ONE side of the box. You have to subtract 1.5" for 3/4" wood (.75" wood x 2 = 1.5").
