I hate to even ask, but I have tried to use a couple of the calc but just don't seem to know how it all works with a sealed enclosure. I will first say that the enclosure seems to work fine for bass response. I am only curious as to what the box tune would be. I am using the pioneer champion series pro w3002d4. The cubic feet for each sub mounted is 1.326 actual.
The actual internal enclosure size for each sub is 27.5625 wide x 13.5 tall x 7 deep "average between 6.5 top 7.5 bottom".
After really checking the specs I found the xmax to only be 1/2", I'm not sure how to take that because I know them subs have bounced more than 1/2" out, and without going over much of the rms watt rating. These subs are rated at 1000w rms 3500w max each??????? What gives here because it dont make sence to me and these are supposed to be spl subs??????
Another question I have is will it possibly hurt the subs to be in the larger cf when the max recommended is 1cf for each sealed, if so how much less power would help ? I have considered adding a round port but that would be later.
Here is a pic of the box in the truck but with RF P3's.
Thank you
