So, I installed my subs today; but before I set it all up I want to verify I did this part correct (refer to pic). I assume I keep neg w/ neg and pos w/ pos-but want to be positive before I ruin something

I have my two 4ohm subs bridged;

1st sub is ch. 1 pos & ch. 2 neg

2nd sub is ch. 3 pos & ch. 4 neg

Now, coming from my HU my RCA pos is bridged to ch. 1 and ch. 3 and my RCA neg is bridged to ch. 2 and ch. 4 to the amp...is this correct?

Or, is there no neg/pos from RCA output from HU, but rather left/right???

my edit question: So are RCA outputs from a HU actually left/right and not pos/neg?

huh?

OK, so you both are saying hook one RCA cable to ch. 1 and 2 and the other to ch. 3 and 4? I was gonna do this, but then I thought if the white RCA was negative then I would totally f up my stuff. BUT, I should've done my research because it appears the each RCA is pos negative-so which ever sub is left should get left RCA and right sub should get right RCA--will I damage my subs as is (just curious)?
