More or less the same as a port. With a port, the freq is determined by the area of the port and the mass of air inside the port...with PR it's the area of the PR and you just calculate the mass of air that would be in a port of the same area and add that mass. They sound nice and can save a lot of area but will roll off below tuning much steeper than port.

Personally I wouldn't use a PR unless I had to. They can bottom out hard if you listen to lows...
