At first i had my door speakers hooked up with the stock wiring to my pioneer deck.. everything seemed fine.. the deck outputs 15rms to each speaker i guess, and the speakers handle 30 when that much is supplied..
my subwoofer is a Kicker CVT12 running on a Kicker 400.1 Amp (400W cont)
So i decided to run my door speakrs on a new amp MTX 4004 and now the subwoofer seems like its hitting alot less harder... not as deep etc..
Door Speakers are getting more their full potential of 30RMS x 4.. and the Subs doing 400W..
Am i loosing some power or something which could make the sub hit less deep with the new mtx amp?..
Oh and if this makes any difference, both the amps are grounded of the same screw thats put into the body of the truck.. and the remote start wire is spliced to go to both amps.
The MTX amp (door speakers) is running on 8Gauge Wire and the Kicker (Sub) is running on 4gauge wire
